안녕하세요~ 오늘은 제가 최고로 좋아하는 밴드중 하나인 Maroon5 (마룬5)의 Memories 이라는 곡을 소개합니다. 옛날 추억들을 회상하면서 만든 노래인데요, 심플한 멜로디라인과 Adam Levine의 특유한 목소리가 너무 좋은 것 같아요.

갑작스럽게 세상을 떠난 전 매니져를 추모하는 곡입니다.
'Memories'는 파헬벨의 캐논 (Canon in D Major)을 샘플링 곡으로
이 곡은 우리나라 노래에서도 여러번 샘플링 된 꽤 익숙한 멜로디입니다.

빌보트 차트 2위를 기록했던 마룬 5의 대표곡 중 하나로
유튜브에는 이 곡을 커버한 영상들이 많은데
애덤 리바인(Adam Levine)과 같은
절대된 감정을 표현하는 사람은 거의 없는 듯 하더라구요.
다들 왜 그렇게 청량하고 밝게 부르는지 모르겠네요..
